DEV Q&A
A: That's only on the battlefield, the campaign features all three factions fighting for global domination.
A: Depends on the unit type. For Rifleman platoons there are 20. Four squads of five guys.
A: There are assault rifles, SMGs, shotguns, sniper rifles. They are generally based on upgraded versions of real world weapons, for example the JSF .50 cal is based on the Barret. The JSF assault rifle is based on the SCAR.
A: It depends on the order they are currently following and who attacks them. If they are moving and they see one of their 'prey', for example if gunships see a tank they will stop to engage. If they see a 'predator', for example if a tank sees a gunship, they'll try and get the hell out of there. If they have a retreat order nothing stops them from getting the hell to their target. Also you can give a 'force move' order with a double click that tells them to ignore anything except reaching their destination.
A: The strategic objectives on the map are all marked with letter designations [Alpha, Bravo etc.] so they can be used as way markers.
A - Actually one of the advantages of making an RTS is that you can make the unit AI smarter than an FPS because you control the environment more. And once they have taken strategic or tactical decisions at either the army, unit, squad or soldier level we have a lot more control over how they execute the behavior.
A: Yes, except it's not a medic that rescues them it's a support helicopter which airlifts them out. If they have a successful CASEVAC then they can survive as part of your permanent army until the next battle.
A: The Enforcer Corps is drawn from the best of the best of all the member European nations. We've taken inspirations from programs like the Eurofighter or Eurocopter which combine the technology and expertise of the member nation. So for example the EuroCorps Panther tank combines the best elements of the specifications of the German Leopard and the French Le Clerc. They don't feature British SAS units because the British are not aligned with the European Federation in 2020. In EndWar 1 all of the Commonwealth nations like England, Canada and Australia are neutral, kind of like America in WW2 before 1941.
A: Your personal units only fight in online ranked matches, the units in Skirmish are not part of your army. Skirmish matches are unranked and are for practice.
A: Yes, you can upgrade munitions and also select between primary and secondary munitions for all units.
